NWI Green Party Crossroads

‍, it is Popcorn Festival time in NWI and your NWI Greens need you help at our table this coming Saturday in downtown Valparaiso. This is always a great time handing out information about the Green Party and talking to folks about our grassroots advocacy. Please join us at our table on Saturday, September 9th anytime from 8:00am to 6:30pm. Our table will be located near 57 Franklin St (give or take). It is a great spot in the morning, just be ready for the afternoon sun, we will have a canopy for some shade. We are also excited to be collecting signatures for the 2024 presidental candidate nominations drive and promoting our two 2023 local candidates who will be on the ballots in Portage and Hobart. This is a really fun event for our local party and we want you to be involved with with us this year. Just pop in for an hour or two to help our movement in Northwest Indiana.

The Northwest Indiana Green Party will be meeting at the Student Center at Valparaiso Univerity for our next monthly meeting on Sunday, September 17th at 2pm. The Student Center is located at 1509 Chapel Dr, Valparaiso, IN and you can find us in The Conrad Chapel View Lounge located along the hallway. If the weather is sunny and warm you will find us in just outside on the patio, if not we will be cozy in the louge area. Join your local Greens for this time to socialize and strategize for our environment and our democracy. Any updates to the meeting will be posted on Facebook.

Support your Northwest Indiana Green Party by making a contribution to our green movement. Contributions can be made through our secure square site at nwigreenparty.square.site. While you are there consider becoming a member of the NWI Green Party. Annual membership are $10 for adults, $5 seniors and students. You can join by clicking on the appropriate membership to add it to your cart. Your contributions will help us to engage the political machines in our region and to promote Green candidates in the upcoming election cycles.

We have three people with campaigns ready to go and we want a lot more candidates running to turn the region Green. Have you been considering make a value-based run to place our environmental, social justice and democracy platform on the ballot? Then this is the time begin to build our coalition in Northwest Indiana!
